a school teacher divided his students consistent of224boys and336girls into largest possible equal classes, so that each class of boys should have same number as each class of girls. find also the number of classes.

Hi friend, Here is the required answer:-
In order to find the no. of students in each class , we have to find the HCF of 224& 336.
Step I :- 336=224×112
Step II :- 224=112×2
So HCF is equal to 112.
Total no. of students=224+336=560
So the no. of classes= 560÷112=5 classes.
