a scientist has come across a plant while he feels is new species .how will he go about it's Identification, classification and nomenclature

Using genus ,the genus is identified.using spices key, identification is carried out. As the genius is known, the species is provided now with a latinised name as per guidelines.Types specimen or holotype is placed in a recognised herbarium or Museum. Name ,description and report of the discovery is published in a reputed scientific journal.
