given
velocity=54kmph=54×5/18=15m/s
time=15seconds
by given, initial velocity= 0m/s
so we know that
v=u+at
15=0+a (15)
15=15a
a=15/15=1m/s^2 is ur answer

Answer:

1 m/s^{2}

Explanation:-

Known terms:-

Initial velocity=u

Final velocity=v

Acceleration=a

Time taken=t

Given:-

Initial velocity of the train, u = 0 km (Because train starts from the rest.)

Final velocity of the train, v = 15 km/h = {5}{18} × 40 = 15 m/s

Acceleration=Final position-Initial position

                   ------------------------------------------------

                                Total time taken

=v-u/t

=15-0/15

=15/15

=1 m/s²

I hope this was helpful.....
