A scooter acquires a speed of 36 km/h in 5s just after the start . calculate the acceleration of the scooter.

a=v_u÷t=10_0÷5=10÷5=2m/sec square

The scooter acquires a speed of 36km/hr in 5sec

So the initial velocity is 0

Final velocity is 36km/hr=36*5/18=10m/sec

Time take is 5sec

Acceleration = (v-u)/t

=(10-0)/5

=10/5

=2m/sec²

Acceleration of the scooter is 2m/sec²
