A scooter acquires a velocity of 36 km/hr in 10 seconds just after the start. Calculate the acceleration of the scooter

v=36km/h=10m/s
u=0m/s
t=10s
Applying first law of motion
v=u+at
10=10a
a=m/s^2

Given -

  • Initial velocity = 0
  • Final velocity = 36 km/hr = 10 m/s
  • Time = 10 s

To find -

Acceleration

Solution :-

v = u + at

10 = 0 + 10a

10 = 10a

a = 1 m/s²

Acceleration = 1 m/s²
