Answer:

u = 0m/s

v = 36km/h

  = 36*5/18m/s

  = 10m/s

t = 10s

a = v-u/t

  = 10-0/10

  = 1m/s^2

Given :

Initial velocity of scooter is 0.

Final velocity of scooter is 36 km/h.

Time taken is 10 sec

To Find :

the acceleration of the scooter

Solution :

First of all we have to convert km/h into m/s.

1km/hr = 5/18 m/s

36km/hr = 36 × 5/18 = 10 m/s

here we are provided with initial Velocity, final velocity and time so we can use 1st equation of motion. .i.e.,

v = u + at

here, v denotes final velocity,

by Substituting all the given values,

➠ 10 = 0 + (a)(10)

➠ 10 = 10a

➠ 10/10 = a

➠ a = 1m/s²{.}

thus, the acceleration of scooter is 1 m/s².
