We have to find acceleration of scooter.

Solution

As the scooter acquires velocity of 36 km/h just after start, so it starts from rest.

So, initial velocity of scooter = 0 m/s

Again, final velocity = 36 km/h

➝ Final velocity = 36 × (5/18)

Final velocity (v) = 10 m/s

Using first equation of motion :

➝ v = u + at

Putting all values :

➝ 10 = 0 + a × 10

➝ 10 = 10a

➝ a = 10/10

a = 1 m/s²

Therefore,

Acceleration of scooter = 1 m/s²
