a scooter acquires a velocity of 36km/h in 10sec just after the start it takes 20sec to stop .calculate acceleration

initial velocity(u)= 36km/h

•36×5/18m/s = 10 m/s

final velocity(v)=0

time (t1)=10s

time (t2) = 20s

•acceleration=change in velocity/time taken

acceleration= final -initial velocity/time taken

acceleration=0-10/20-10 = -10/10 =-1m/s^2

hence acceleration is -1m/s^2
