A scooter acquires a velocity of 36km/hr in 10 seconds just after the start.it takes 20seconds to stop.calculate the accelaration in two cases.

first of all,we convert 36km/h into m/s.so we have 10m/s.now,u =0 and v = 10m/s.so in case first,acceleratoin=v - u/t =10-0/10=1m/s.now in second case,initial velocity=10m/s and final velocity =0. so, acceleration=0-10/20= -0.5
