in the first case,
u = 0 m/s
v = 36km/h
= 36 * 5/18
= 10 m/s
t = 10 sec
using a = v-u/t
a = 1 m/s^2
in second case,
v = 0
u = 10 m/s
t = 20 sec
again using,
a = v-u/t
a = -1/2 = -0.5 m/s^2
