First of all we have to find the distance, as:-
s = 60km/hr. t = 4.5 hrs.
s = d/t
60 = d/4.5
d = 60×4.5
d = 270km.
now find the speed to cover same distance in 4 hrs.
s = d/t
s = 270/4
s = 67.5 km/hrs
now speed he has to increase will be
67.5 - 60 = 7.5 km/ hrs
he has to inc. the speed by 7.5 km/hrs to cover the same distance.
