{\bold{\therefore Acceleration=8\:m/s^{2}}}

{\bold{\therefore Final\:velocity=32\:m/s}}

• In the given question information given about a scooter from rest moves in a straight line with uniform acceleration and covers 64m in 4s.

• We have to Calculate its acceleration and final velocity.

 \underline  \bold{Given : } \\  \implies Initial \: velocity(u) = 0 \: m/s \\  \\  \implies Distance(s) = 64 \: m \\  \\  \implies Time(t) = 4 \: sec \\  \\ \underline  \bold{To \: Find : } \\  \implies Acceleration(a) = ? \\  \\  \implies Final \: velocity(v) = ?

• According to given question :

 \bold{Using \: third \: equation \: of \: motion : } \\  \implies s = ut +  \frac{1}{2}  {at}^{2}  \\  \\  \implies 64 = 0 \times 4 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times a \times  {4}^{2}  \\  \\ \implies 64 = 8a \\  \\  \implies a =  \frac{ \cancel{64}}{ \cancel{8}}  \\  \\   \bold{\implies a = 8 \: m /{s}^{2} } \\  \\  \bold{Using \: first \: equation \: of \: motion : } \\  \implies v = u + at \\  \\  \implies v = 0 + 8 \times 4 \\  \\   \bold{\implies v = 32 \: m/s}

According to the given question:-

  • A scooter from rest moves in a straight line with uniform acceleration and covers 64m in 4s.We have to calculate its acceleration and final velocity.

Hence,

0 m/s is the initial velocity ,64 m is the distance and 4 sec is the time.

We have to find the acceleration and final velocity.

= S = ut + 1/2 at²

= 64 = 0 × 4 + 1/2 × a × 4²

= 64 = 8a

= a = 64/8

= a = 8m/s²

From Equation(1)

v - u + at

= v = a + 8 × 4

= V = 32 m/s
