A scooter is ahead of a car by 30 km. If scooter goes at the rate of 50km.per hour and the car at the rate of 60 KMP the car will overtake scooter after how many hours???

speed of car = 60km/h

speed of scooter = 50 km/h


speed of car with respect to scooter is

Vcs = 60 - 50 = 10km/h


we know that

v = d/t

=> t = d/Vcs

=> t = 30/10

=> t = 10hour



hence, car will overtake scooter after 10 hour
