Scooter moves 45 km on one liter of petrol.
Also, In a Journey scooter used the Whole Petrol. Thus, the Distance covered by the scooter must be 45 km.

Now, we cannot say that the scooter is moving in the straight path or circular path, or either Random Path.
Hence, it is not necessary that the Displacement must be 45 km, it can be less than that also, or equal to that also.

Since, Path is not exactly given, Scooter can also moves in Straight path as well. Thus, It may be possible that the Displacement is 45 km.
Thus, ''Yes it is possible that the displacement may be 45 km.''

Hope it helps.

Answer:

No, It is not necessary that the displacement of the scooter in the journey is 45 km, because if scooter follows zig-zag path then, the distance is equal to 45 km but not displacement.
