Initial velocity of the scooter = 10m/s
Final velocity of the scooter = 0 m/s
Acceleration = -0.5m/s
put the values in the third equation of motion
V^2 - U^2 = 2as
0 - (10)^2 = 2 (-0.5) s
- 100 = - s
s = 100
