- The distance covered by the scooter before it stops = ?
Solution:
Bʏ ᴜsɪɴɢ ᴛʜᴇ ᴛʜɪʀᴅ ᴇǫᴜᴀᴛɪᴏɴ ᴏғ ᴍᴏᴛɪᴏɴ ᴡᴇ ɢᴇᴛ:
- v² - u² = 2as
Pᴜᴛᴛɪɴɢ Tʜᴇ Vᴀʟᴜᴇs:
➦ 0² - 16² = 2 × (-0.5) × s
➦ -256 = (-1) × s
➦ -256 = -s
➦ s = 256 metres
Tʜᴇʀᴇғᴏʀᴇ:
- The Distance Covered by the Scooter before it stops is 256 metres.
