a=8m/s^2
v=32m/s
..
..for half of the total distance
t= 2.82
=3sec.(approx)
v=32m/s

Hi friend,
We know that
S=ut +1/2 at²
Since u=0
S=1/2 at²
a=2S/t²
a= 2×64/16
a=8m/s²
V= u+at
Final velocity (v) =8×4
V=32 m/s.
Again,
S=ut +1/2 at²
S=1/2 at²
Given that the scooter had covered half the distance, so
S/2 =1/2 at²
S/a =t²
64/8 =t²
t²= 8
t=2√2 secs.
Hope this helped you a little!!!
