let distance between the stations be x kms
time taken to go from a to b = x/60
time taken to come back =x/70
total time =x/60 + x/70 = 13x/420
average speed =total distance / total time
avg speed = 2x/(13x/420)
=(2×420)/13
=64.61 km/h

Answer:

64.6

Step-by-step explanation:

here the speed between station A to station B is given 60 km/hr and speed from returning station B to station A is given 70 km/hr.

So here we can assume distance x km.

by taking this , the total distance covered by a scooter is equals to 2 x

as we have distance = X km

we can find T¹ take in to cover the distance between station A to station B.

by putting the formula of time = distance/speed

= x/60 seconds

now we can find T²= x/70

total time=T¹+T²

=x/60+x/70

= 13x/420

Now let's find the average speed...

Average speed= Total distance/total time taken

2x ÷ (13x/420)

2x × 420/13x

=64.6 km/hr

the final answer is 64.6 km/hr
