Given :

Initial velocity ( u ) = 10 m / sec

Final velocity ( v ) = 20 m / sec

Time ( t ) = 4 sec

We have to find acceleration ( a )

From first equation of motion we have

v = u + a t

where

v = Final velocity

u = Initial velocity

a = acceleration

t = time

Now put the values here we get

20 = 10 + 4 a

4 a = 20 - 10

4 a = 10

a = 2.5 m / sec^2
