Answer:

a=2.5m/s^2

Explanation:

Given,

Initial Velocity(u) = 10m/s

Final Velocity(v) = 20m/s

time(t) = 4s

To Find :-

Acceleration(a) of the scooter.

Formula Required :-

a=\dfrac{v-u}{t}

Solution :-

a=\dfrac{20-10}{4}

=\dfrac{10}{4}

=\dfrac{5}{2}

a=2.5m/s^2

Know More :-

Useful Kinematic Formulas :-

1) v = u+at

2)s=ut+\dfrac{1}{2}at^2

3)s=vt-\dfrac{1}{2}at^2

4)v=\sqrt{2gh}

5)v^2-u^2=2as

Given:-

  • Initial Speed/Velocity (u) = 10 m/s

  • Final Speed/Velocity (v) = 20 m/s

  • Time taken = 4 sec

To Find:-

  • Acceleration of scooter.

Law used:-

  • {\boxed{First\:Law \:of \:Motion: v = u + at}}

Solution:-

Putting the values in it,

:\implies\:v=u+at

:\implies\:20=10+a\times 4

:\implies\:20-10=a\times 4

:\implies\:a=\dfrac{10}{4}

:\implies\:a=\dfrac{5}{2}

{\boxed{:\implies\:a=2.5ms^{-2}}}

Hence, The acceleration of scooter is 2.5m/.
