Given: Principal (P) =₹ 42,000,

Rate of Interest (R) = 8%, Time (n) =

1 years Amount (A)  = P(1-R/100)^n

[Value depreciated]

= 42000(1-8/100)¹

A=42000(1-2/25)

A= (42000×23)/25

A= 1680× 23A=

₹ 38640Hence,

the value of the scooter after one year = ₹ 38640

Hope this will help you....

8‰ of 38000= 3400

In 2 years =2 × 3400

= 6800₹

In two years its price would be = 38000-6800= ₹ 31, 200
