A scooterist has to cover a total distance of 10km

Average speed =60km/h( given)

time=Distance/Speed =10/60=1/6 hr

First he cover distance=4km

speed=40km/hr
time \:  =  \frac{speed}{distance}  =  \frac{s}{d}   \\  \\  =  \frac{4}{40}  \\  \\  =  \frac{1}{10}

remaining distance he has to cover=10 - 4=6km

time \:  =  \frac{1}{6}  -  \frac{1}{10}   \\  \\  =   \frac{5 - 3}{30}  \\  \\  =  \frac{2}{30}  =  \frac{1}{15}

speed \:  =  \frac{distance}{time}  \\  \\ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   =  \frac{d}{ t}  \\  \\   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  =  \frac{6}{ \frac{1}{15} }   \\  \\   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = 6 \times 15 \\  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = 90km \:  per \: hour
