A scooterist moves from place A to B with a uniform speed of 30km/h and returns from B to A with a uniform speed of 60km/h. Find the average speed for the entire journey

The time taken is given as t=distance covered/speed

Total time =   t₁+t₂   =  x/30+  x/20=  5x/60h

Average speed = Total distance/Total time =   2 x
