DASHISHDas: Initial velocity u=36km/h=36X5/18=10m/s.

Final velocity v=72 km/h=20m/s.

Assuming uniform acceleration a=(v-u)/t=(20–10)/5=2m/s^2

For second part we take initial velocity=20m/s and final velocity =0m/s. t=20s is given.

Therefore ,retardation =(0–20)/20=-1m/s^2

initial acceleration= 18×5/18= 5 m/s^2
distance cover in 4s
final acceleration- initial acceleration /time
10-5/4 = 5/4m
