A sealed and rigid 18.3 L container at 25oC is filled with 14.2 grams of butene gas, C4H8, and 9.7 grams of oxygen gas. A spark is added to the container causing a chemical reaction to occur between the two gases. (as shown below). After the reaction had gone to completion the container was at a temperature of 362 K.
