Radius, r = 42cm
Angle, θ = 150° = 150/180 X π radians

Length of arc, l = rθ
l = 42 X 5π / 6
l = 35π = 5 X 22 = 110cm

Thus, length of arc = 110cm

shivani012janozkb3g: why is π 22? why not 22/7?

Length of the arc is 110cm.

  • Radius of the circle is 42 cm.
  • The central angle of the sector is 150°.
  • We have to find the length od the arc.
  • Formula to find the length of arc is given by

s = 2πr × (θ/360)

s = 2π×42× (150/360) = 110 cm.

  • Length of arc of circle with radius 24 cm and central angle 150° is 110cm.
