a see-saw of length 4 m is supported at its centre. a boy we weighing 4 n sits at a distance of 1 m from centre of the see-saw. where should a girl weighing 2 n sit (on the other side of the see-saw so as to balance the weight of the boy.​

By using the principle of moments



Sum of anticlockwise monent= sum of clockwise monent



4*1=2*x


x = 4/2


x= 2 m
