The cost price of radio to x is Rs 400

1) Let the cost price of radio to A be Rs x.

He sells it at a profit of 10%.

So, the Selling price for A would be (100+10)/ 100 * x = 11x/10 = 1.1x

2) The Cost price of radio to B would be 11x/10

He sells it at  a profit of 5% to C.

So, the Selling price for B would be (100 + 5)/ 100 * 11x/10 = 1155x/1000 = 1.155x

3) The cost price of radio to C would be 1.155 x

But the actual price paid is Rs 462

Equating both the terms

1.155x = 462

x = 400
