let's say cost of bicycle be x.then A makes a profit of20% on bicycle . So selling price of bicycle from A to B =x+profit= x+20/100x= 1.2x. Now B makes a profit% of 5% on bicycle. so selling price of bicycle from B to C is 1.2x+profit =1.2x+0.05(1.2x)=1.26x which is equal to ₹3780
=>1.26x=3780
=>x=3780/1.26=₹3000. So A pays for the bicycle 3000 rupees.
