A sells a bicycle to B at a profit of 20 percent and B sells it to c at a profit of 5 percent . if c pays 3780 what did A pay for it
 we know
c pays 3780
c.p of c =s.p of b
B sells it to c at a profit of 5
so c.p of b= [s.p*100/100*profit]
                  =[3780*100/105]
             = 3600 rupees
c.p of b =s.p of a =3600
A sells a bicycle to B at a profit of 20 percent
so c.p of a = [s.p*100/100*profit]
                  =[3600*100/120]
             = 3000 rupees

A paid 3000 rupess
