let cp for A is 100
then c pays to B=120*(125/100)
=150
since c pays 450
therefore 150=450
1=450/150
since cp for A 100=450/150*100
100=300
therefore A pay = 300

jyoti7397: to 150 is equal to 450
jyoti7397: 1 equal to 450/150
jyoti7397: sence cp for A is 100 ..we need to find out the value of 100
jyoti7397: i.e 450/150*100
jyoti7397: i.e. 300
nivethitha2301: Thanks I got the answer

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Selling price to c is $450

This equals to 125%

125% = 450

100% =?

100/125 × 450 = $360

This is the selling price to b.

This equals 120%

120% = 360

100% =?

100/120 × 360 = 300

a buys it at $ 300.
