According to question,

Discount of first 20000,        

$\frac{8}{100}\times 20000=1600$

Discount of remaining 16000,

$\frac{5}{100}\times 16000=800$

Total discount = 1600+800 = Rs.2400

Actual price charged by A is

$A_A= 36000 - 2400\\A_A=33600$

Now, B also sells another article of same kind priced in Rs.36,000

He give a discount of 7% on the total price.

So Discount is
