CP for B=3213 ×100/100 +2=$3150

Answer:

Given,

A's profit = 5 percent

B's profit = 2 percent

B sold article at Rs 3213

Therefore, CP = B = 3213 × 100/100 + 2 = Rs.3150

A sold it for Rs.3150

Therefore, CP = A = 3150 × 100/100 + 5 = Rs.3000

A pay Rs.3000 for it
