sells the se to C for *3213 thereby making a profit of 2% .What did A pay for it?​

For B, 102%=3213 $

or, 1% = 3213/102$

or, 100%= 3213×100/102 $= 3150 $

That means A sold the article to B for 3150 $

It also means,

For A,

105%= 3150 $

or, 1% = 3150/105 $

or, 100% = 3150×100/105 $ =3000 $

That means A paid 3000$ for it.
