A semi-circular rug has a diameter 10½ cm. Find it's area in cm2 . [π =22/7]

Answer:

Area of semi circle = πr² / 2

Diameter = 10. 5 cm

Radius = 5.25 cm [10.5 /2 ]

Area = 22/7 × 5.25 × 5.25 / 2

= 43.27 cm²
