Answer : 43.31 cm² ✔️

Solution :

Given that :

A diameter of semi-circle rug = 10 1/2 = 21/2 cm

=> Radius = Diameter/2 = 21/2/2 = 21/4 cm

To find :

Area of semi-circle

As we know that :

Area of Semi-circle = 1/2× πr², where r = radius of semi-circle

Now, Area of semi-circle = 1/2 × 22/7 × 21/4 × 21/4

=> Area of semi-circle = 43.31 cm²

So, the Area of semi-circle will be 43.31 cm²
