Answer:
Radius of semi - circular piece =14 cm
Circumference of semi - circle = πr=722×14
=44 cm
∴ Circumference of base of cone =44 cm
⇒2πR=44cm⇒R=2×2244×7=7cm
Radius of semi - circular sheet = slant height of conical cup ⇒l=14cm
Now, R2+h2=l2⇒72+h2=142⇒h=196−49=147=73cm
∴ Capacity of cup =31πR2h=31×722×7×7×73=622.3cm3

- A semicircular region circumscribes a circle which symmetrically fits into it. If a dice is rolled inside the semicircular part only what is the probability that the dice will fall in the circular region.
Since, the dice is rolled inside the Semicircular part only, then it must fall in the circular region.
So,
- Probability of the given event is 1.
