Overcoming the stress and anxiety a seminar on stress management and concentration development was arranged at Sircars School on Thursday.

Students of that school participated in the seminar.  

Aiming to guide students on how to relieve themselves from stress to excel in fields chosen by them the workshop was addressed by speaker Anish Mehta.

During addressing students Anish said anxiety is part of human nature but it's important to know how to overcome it.

She discussed about influence of mobile phones and internet.

She explained students regarding stress management where she said that students should always share their problems with others instead of keeping in their minds.  

She also suggests them for interactive during seminar so that they could learn art of handling stress and tension.

Seminar on Stress Management Organized at Greenwoods Global School

Greenwoods Global School, Ludhiana organized seminar on stress management on January 11, 2019. Famous, psychologist and speaker, Dr. Baldev Srivastava, HOD psychology department at Mind Power Hospital enlightened the students about various stress related problems and techniques to successfully deal with them.  

Speaking on the occasion he said, “Stress is our body's way of responding to any kind of demand, threat, or change. In certain cases stress enables us to tackle the challenge on hand. For example in threat conditions, our bodies react by releasing chemicals into the blood. These chemicals give us more energy and strength, which can be a good thing. However there is a bad stress also. The bad stress our groundless anxiety in response to some emotional issue that in reality is not so threatening but we assume it to be threatening.  This type of stress is ‘negative stress.”

He also trained the students and the teachers to tackle stress with positive attitude. He taught certain stress management techniques such as deep breathing, meditation, laughter, letting-go, relaxation, etc.

The principla, Mrs. Sudha Kashyap thanked the learned resource person for his highly informative and engrossing seminar.
