an=5-2n

Let..a1=1

a2=2

a3=3

Substitute it...

a1=5-2(1)

= 3...... (1)

a2=5-2(2)

=1.............(2)

a3=5-2(3)

= - 1......(3)

Series =3,1,-1

From this we get common diffidence is - 2

Hence it is in AP
