Now put n = 2

f(2+ 1) = f(2) – 3

f(3) = f(2) – 3 (As f (3) = 25 )

25 + 3 = f(2)

28 = f(2)

Put n = 1

f(1 + 1) = f(1) – 3

f(2) = f(1) - 3

28 + 3 = f(1)

f(1) = 31

Therefore the value of f(1) is 31 .
