A set of 4 cells,each of emf 2v and internal resistance 1.5 ohm are connected across an external load of 10 ohm with 2 rows, 2 cells in each branch . calculate the current in each branch and potential difference across 10 ohm

so, total resistance is 1.5+1.5+10 = 13ohm

and   total potential in one branch

    v = 1/2 +1/2 = 1 V

now, current flowing in each branch

    I =V / R

    I = 1/ 13

    I = 0.0769 A

And total current flowing through 10ohm

    = 2* 0.0769 = 0.153 A

voltage across 10ohm

    V = 0.153*10 = 1.53 V
