Monsoon climate is the characteristic of Indian subcontinent n its eastern neighbouring region. It is characterised by hot n moist summers and dry, cool winters. The onset of monsoon is mainly during the summer season which perhaps begins from the month of May or June and lasts till the end of September. It brings heavy rain with it and changes its direction twice in a year.Monsoon winds flow just opposite to the direction in the second half of the year.Winters are relatively dry. People here are dependent mainly on the rain brought by the monsoon winds for their agricultural activities. And the amount of rainfall really afffects the economies of the countries lying in this region.
Mediterranean climate is found in the countries surrounding the mediterranean sea like frace, italy, spain, turkey, Morocco, Israel, Libya etc.It is characterised by warm summers and cool to very cold winters. Here rainfall occurs during the winter season and summers are relatively dry. Mediterranean climate is considered to be good for the cultivation of fruits mainly citrus ones and due to this this region is a world supplier of citrus fruits.
