Torque = 954.9 N.m

Power in rotational motion is just as essential as power in linear motion, and it may be calculated in the same way when the force is constant. The power transmitted in rotational motion is given by,

P = T × β

where, P = Power transmitted

T = Torque produced

β = Angular velocity in rad/s

Modified to fit angular veloicty in Revolutions/min

P = 2×π×N×T / 60

where,

N = Velocity in rev/min.

Given, P = 200 kW

N = 200 RPM

∴ T = P×30 / π×N

∴ T = 20 × 1000 × 30 / π × 200

∴ T = 954.92 N.m
