area of sheet=length*breadth

5cm wide strip is cut from rectangular sheet all around, then we obtain a rectangular sheet paper

length=(35-(5+5)=25cm

breath=(25-(5+5)=15cm

area of remaining sheet PQRS=(25*15)=375cm²

area of strip cut out=area of sheet ABCD -area of sheet PQRS

=(875-375)cm²
