Answer:

area of sheet paper = length×breath

= 30 × 20

=600sq cm

area of the sheet = 2.5× 30 cm

Answer:

Solution: Area of the sheet of paper

-Length x Breadth

=(30 x 20) cm²

= 600 cm²

Length of sheet after cutting 2.5 cm strip/

=(30-2.5-2.5) cm = 25 cm

Breadth of sheet after cutting 2.5 cm strip

=(20-2.5-2.5) cm = 15 cm Area of the remaining sheet (25 x 15) cm²

= 375 cm²

Area of the strip

= Area of original sheet - Area of remaining sheet

= (600-375) cm?

=225 cm²
