Length  of the sheet L=50 cm

Breadth  of the sheet B=30 cm

Area of Sheet = L × B

= 50 × 30

= 1500 sq.cm

A Strip 6 cm wide is cut from all around so

Length of remaining sheet = 50 -6-6 = 38 cm

Breadth of remaining sheet = 30-6-6 = 18 cm

Area of remaining sheet = 38 × 18 = 684 sq.cm

Area of Strip cut out = 1500 - 684= 816 sq.cm

Therefore, The area of the strip cut out is 816 sq.cm.
