Momentum before breaking up is equal to momentum after breaking up.  If mass of one of the fragments is m/3 then that of the other is (2/3)m  So, mv = mv1/3 + (2/3)mv2 Given that mv1 = 0, mv = 0 + (2/3)mv2 i.e. v = (2/3)v2 or v2 = (3/2)v

Explanation:

m5=3/4×0+1/4m×v

v=20m/s
