A shiny object reflect light . Will a shiny object make a shadow when light shines on it? Explain your answer.

yes, it will make shadow behind it , because reflected light doesn't go behind on it .

as you know, for the formation of shadow ,object must be opaque . means the object completely stop all the light falling on it is known as opaque object. and opaque object make shadow.

A shiny object means it reflects the incident rays  falling on it.. It is considered as opaque object 
As we know that ,A shadow is formed  when :

-->Object is opaque means light cannot pass through it
.
-->source of light

Conclusion :
shiny objects make a shadow when light shines on it
