u = 56km/h =56×5/18m/s =140/9 m/s
v= 58km/h = 58×5/18m/s = 145/9 m/s
t =1 s
As, v = u + a t
so, 145/9 =140/9 + a × 1
or, 145/9 - 140/9 = a
or 5/9 = a
so, required acceleration is 5/9m/s^2
=0.55 m/s^2
