Answer:

0.6 m/s^2

Explanation:

According to the given question,

u = initial velocity = 56 km/h = 56×1000/3600 = 15.5 m/s

v = final velocity = 58 km/h = 16.1 m/s

t = time = 1 sec

a = acceleration

And we are asked to find the acceleration of the ship.

We know,

  • v = u+ at

Putting the values we get,

  • 16.1 = 15.5 + a×1

  • a = 16.1 - 15.5

  • a = 0.6 m/s^2

Thus acceleration of the ship is 0.6 m/s^2.

Answer:-

Initial velocity=IV

FV =Finial velocity

A=Acceleration

V = IV = 56 km/h  \\ </p><p>= 56× \frac{1000}{3600}   \\ </p><p>= 15.5 m/s

V = FV= 58 km/h

= 16.1 m/s

T= time = 1 sec

V= u+ at

Adding the values we have,

16.1 = 15.5 + a×1 \\ </p><p>a = 16.1 - 15.5 \\ </p><p>a = 0.6 m/s^2

Acceleration

=0.6 m/s^2
